Hoya CV Optimistic is a hybrid of Hoya "Ruthie" X Hoya ciliata with large bright green glossy leaves with fuzzy undersides and stem. The flowers, when produced, are approximately 4.5 cm in diameter with a lovely fresh lemon scent. It has a very upright growth habit and grows quite quickly. My parent plant has handled light ranging from medium to high light, but grows more compact internodal spacing in higher light; including full midday sun for up to 3 hours depending on the season. With these propagations, natural light should be increased gradually as they have been under growlights, not natural light. This is a very rewarding hoya to own.
